I was born on the 7th of April 1976, in Lagos state, Nigeria. I studied civil engineering at the University of Lagos, finishing in 1998. My national service year was spent in Abuja, where I worked with the (then) Federal Environment Protection Agency (FEPA). After a short stint with Universal Trust Bank plc in Kano, as a Credit Officer, I moved to the United Kingdom where I obtained an MSc in environmental engineering in 2002. Since then I have worked in various locations in the UK, mostly in the water industry, and mostly on water infrastructure design. I have always been interested in infrastructure development - particularly in Nigeria and Africa. This blog will follow my first tentative steps into this arena ... When I'm not working I enjoy reading, travelling and listening to music.
